The
Minutes of 2/21/19 were approved as read.
Treasurer
Report, Balance is $ 8007.50. H J Koepp Improvement Fund (HJKIF) Balance
is $3805.00 This amount will be held separate from the PRP funds.
The HJKIF is money for improvements and maintenance to the area at the PVH
bridge at Koepp Park.
Old
Business:
Monitor
update: Most of our sites have monitors at this time. An extremely
high level of oxygen was tested at the outfall by Jane Jenks. The large algae
bloom in the lake seems to have produced this high level.
Native Plant
sale: A check for $2842.00 was given to Charlie Shong for purchase of the
plants for our sale may 11, 2019. A plant sale customer has added links
on the order form to Agrecol so if you want to see the plant and information
about it just “click on a Link”. for that particular plant.
Girl Scout
Project: Their work schedule will start May 18th. This project adds
improvements to the walkway along the Pewaukee river at Village Park.
Restoration
of the Pewaukee river: Outfall to the PVH Bridge. The DNR suggested
a “Tree Drop” type restoration improvement. Basically a cut tree is placed
in the river and used to improve the flow of the river. This would direct
the flow into a “main channel” and thus scour the main channel to be
deeper. A letter from the Village of Pewaukee, to do this, will be needed
since this is in the Flood Plain and the Village has a say in that.
New Business:
The Chamber
of Commerce has asked for the PRP (E-mail list) to be on their E-mail “blast
list” for community news. At this time we will not share this list.
At this time we may put a link to other sites. To be determined.
