The Minutes of 1/17/19 were approved
Treasurer
Report, Balance is $ 8341.26 . Charlie has received donations of $ 200.00 for
the up keep of Koepp Parkway in memory of long time Village of Pewaukee
resident Jack Koepp. Nancy and the family have received additional donations.
All of these donations will be used only for improvements at Koepp Park.
.Old
Business:
Bridge - An
additional Light on the West walkway may be installed when construction
of the walkway to the beach is completed. The Penny Van Horn Bridge dedication
will be May 18th 2019.
The PRP
Native Plant Sale: (May 11, 2019). Plants will be priced at $ 2.50
each. Over 12 plants or more and the price will be $2.25 each. Linda
will up-date the poster.
New Business:
The Girl
Scout Project: Kristina Harms has suggested a Girl Scout project of
improvements to the walkway along the Pewaukee river at Village Park.
This would be a memorial to her brother Derek Harms. PRP will write a
letter of support for this project.
Restoration
of the Pewaukee river from the lake outfall to the PVH Bridge: Charlie
will meet with the DNR to acquire the necessary permits so the river will have
a stable channel form the outfall to the PVH bridge. This will allow native
plants to grow along the banks and provide a more stable environment for
wildlife and fish.
Per Tom
Slawski the Fox River Partnership will have a “Summit” conference in
Burlington, WI on March 22nd, 2019. Charlie will secure a PRP spot for
the conference at a cost of $ 40.00.
The PRP will
reimburse Charlie for the conference.
Discussion
was had on future projects.
The meeting
