OLD BUSINESS:

Plant sale net was $1695.10 in addition to $300 worth of plants donated to the Water Resource Fund for the Riverside Drive Project. The plants sold well and it was nice day for a change.

Bridge Update:  An Engineering report was presented to the Villageconcerning the floodplainelevations.  Our engineer from GMA Structural has sent a letter to the Village indicating that the old railroad abutments are able to support the pedestrian bridge. Tom Koepp is working on the DNR permit application.

Riverside canoe launch:  Brush was removed by PRP members.  Tom Koepp has improved the center of the parking lot with native plantings with the help of the 6th grade students. The Partnership has donated $300 worth of plants to this project. Other materials were needed and the PRP will donate $1000.00 to the Water Resource Fund to cover some of the expense for the launch site up grades. We have also donated the plants. The berm along the road will be lowered as requested by the local home owners.

Girl Scout project:  They will be adding native plants between the river walk and the river at Koepp park. The scouts have received a donations from the Women’s club and Positively Pewaukee.  Charlie Shong motioned that the PRP add a donation not to exceed $600.00 for the scouts to cover some of the expenses that will include the purchase of the native plants for them.  The scouts expressed a concern on the time line to do the planting.  A Saturday would be preferred. Mulch and plants will be purchased for the project.

New Business:

The possibility of a Fourth of July parade float was discussed.  More
volunteers may be needed.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
