Draft Minutes – May 29. 2014

1. Minutes and Correspondence – The minutes of the April 24^th meeting were approved as written. Charlie reported that the letter drafted by Greg and Sarah regarding the need for parking at our proposed launch has been sent to the American Cancer Society office.

2. Treasurer’s Report – The current balance is $4,798.96. A request from Charlie for $94.55 for reimbursement for plant sale posters was approved.

3. Monitor Update – It was agreed that monitors should have a separate table at the upcoming Clean Water Festival.

4. Old Business

1. Protection Plan Up-dates – The River Protection Plan has been reviewed by the DNR that has suggested some minor revisions. The Plan is on track for completion on time. Charlie will submit the grant proposal for final payout on the Protection Grant.

2. Plant sale final report –  After receipt of payment from the Village for plants installed at the riverside parking lot and payment from Agrecol for plants not received we will have made $1,446.65 on the sale. Thanks to all that helped with the sale and to our friends at Lawns are Us for the donation of the truck for pickup.

3. Project Planning – The Partnership will present our canoe launch proposal for the Village parking lot adjacent to the river to the Planning Commission for approval. We will schedule a date for work at the Riverside Drive launch in the weeks ahead.

5. New Business – Sarah has agreed to submit this year’s application for the County Executive’s non-profit award. She will seek input on update in the coming month.
