Treasurer Report, Balance is $7,436.46.
Minutes of 2-23-2017 were approved.
Old Business:
Plant sale: The parking lot next to
Salvos Pizza will be the sale location. $ 661.00 was approved for the deposit
on the plants for the native plant sale in May.
Bridge Project: R A Smith has worked
on the flood plain impact of the bridge and the approaches. R A Smith
will contact the DNR with their findings. The decking material is being
addressed. Prices are being quoted. 3" (thick) decking
is being considered. The stump removal at the piers is being addressed.
Hopefully construction will start soon. The easement has been resolved so
we can move forward.
Riverside Drive Canoe Launch: The plan
is to remove the brush on the berm, both sides, top and also the trees to the
North and along the road. About 60' of trees. The berm height will be
reduced to 2 feet. Once reduced the berm will be seeded with no-mow grass and
mulched. Work will be on an "on call" basis.
New Business:
Blogmaster: Linda Deppe will consider
looking into the Web site for improvement.
Posters for the plant sale are available in
a previous E-mail.
Girl Scout Planting Project: The Girl
Scouts, who are working on their Silver Star Award, have volunteered to improve
the parking lot at the bridge site with plantings and signage. Planning and
work has already started.
No additional new business came before the
members.
The April meeting is scheduled for April
20th.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
