- Minutes
and Correspondence – Minutes from February meeting were approved as
written.
- Treasurer’s
Report – Nancy reported that our current balance was $5072.56. Our down
payment for the plant order will be approximately $610.
- Monitor
Update – Ray asked if we could have an article placed in the Lake Country
Reporter about the need for monitors. Tom Koepp will contact Mellisa
Graham and see if it can be accomplished. Ray reminded us that Jayne
Jenks, Waukesha County Monitor Coordinator, will be at the April meeting. Ray also
asked if we could contact the Water Ski team regarding a booth at their
clean water festival.

- Protection
Plan Update - The Protection plan is being reviewed by the DNR for final
approval.
- Plant
sale discussion – Charlie reported that the plants have been ordered.
There is still the need for a truck or trailer to pick up the plants.
John Burke said he would contact Penske Trucking regarding a donation of
a truck for the sale. Dave Swan questioned if we should have prepackaged
rain and butterfly gardens. Charlie will explore that option.

Business
- Discussion
and action on a donation to the Sanitary District’s Water Resource Fund.
– A motion was made and carried to donate $750.
- Review
of mussel survey information from Jason Dare – Charlie presented the
group with a paper from Jason regarding the need for a Survey. We will
request information on what kind of cost would be incurred.
- Tree
removal on Riverside Drive - Tom Koepp and John Burke reported that there
is a large willow branch that is half broken off and ready to fall into
the river. Charlie will check it out and if we can remove it schedule a
work day.
