Draft Minutes – June 19. 2014

1. Minutes and Correspondence – Minutes from the May meeting were approved as written. Charlie reported that the letter drafted by Greg and Sarah about potential parking spots for a launch was sent to the American Cancer Society.

2. Treasurer’s Report – Our current balance is $4,704.41. We have not received payment from the Village for plants the sixth grade students planted at the parking lot.

3. Monitor Update – Ray and Nancy reported that due to high water they had not been out.

4. Old Business

1. Protection Plan Up-dates – The Protection Plan will be finalized within the next two weeks. We will have to pay the remaining cost share to the Planning Commission and will be reimbursed by the DNR.

2. Waukesha County Non-Profit Award– Sarah will fill out and submit the application. Any input would be welcome.

3. Project Planning – The plans for the launch at the Village parking lot will be reviewed by the Planning Commission.

5. New Business –
1. New Partnership blog– Sarah has been working on the new blog page and asked for ideas and photos.

2. Mary Schwister asked if it would be possible to post signs to identify when people enter the watershed. Members indicated they had seen them in other states and in western Wisconsin. We will investigate who would place them and who would pay for them.
