July Minutes 2017

Minutes of 7/20/2017   6:30 PM

Treasurer Report, Balance is $8729.76

Minutes of 6-22-2017 were approved.

Old Business: 

A donation of $400.00 was received from the Pewaukee Kiwanis.  Thank you.

A reimbursement of $42.18 was approved for canoe launch expenses of C. Shong.

The Fourth of July parade float was a success.  And a good time was had by all.

The Bridge Project:  The Electric Company will move their electric pole to accommodate the bridge.

The DNR permit for the bridge is completed and has been submitted.

The easement from the bridge to the East is still an issue but being worked on.

Riverside Canoe launch:  The sign post from the Village Park and Rec. has been installed.  A barrier was installed to allow carry-in launching only.  We are looking for a volunteer to monitor the water

level at the Riverside Canoe launch as compared with the water level at the I-94 tunnel.  This would give paddlers a heads up on conditions downstream at the I-94 underpass.  Any new ideas will be

welcome.

New Business:  The potluck picnic is scheduled for August 24, starting at 5:30.  Please plan to join us as a good time will be had by all. We will have the picnic at the Kiwanis Village Park.

The next maintenance project will be at Simmons Woods Park.  Tree trimming and boardwalk repair will be on the agenda.
