Draft minutes February 27, 2014
Minutes and Correspondence – Charlie reported that we have
received the early order form for the plant sale.
Treasure’s Report – Approved a request for reimbursement to
Charlie for the cost of the P.O.box. $92.00 Nancy will provide a check for the
down payment of the plant order.
Monitor Update – The world is still frozen, Jayne Jenks
reported that a recent testing had indicated high chloride levels in the
streams she surveyed.
Old Business
- Protection
Plan – Dave Swan requested the plan include the potential for summer
sprint races by opening the dam for short times if the water is to low.
Charlie will check with Tom to see if that is possible. Charlie reminded
all that questions and comment should be emailed to Tom ASAP.
- Village
Launch Site – A presentation will be prepared for the Village Planning
Commission Review at their April/May meeting
- Plant
sale - Charlie will order the plants based on the last two years of sale
data. It was suggested that we have some prepackaged rain garden or
butterfly garden flats available.
New Business –
- Everyone
was asked to think of ideas for the poster board at Simmon’s woods park.
Charlie will check if Park and Rec has a copy of the trail map
- Sarah
will check with Mary Schwister for information on how to upgrade our
blogspot.
