Pewaukee River Partnership – Draft minutes – February 25, 2016

Minutes and Correspondence - The minutes of the January 28^th, 2016 meeting were approved as written.

Treasure’s Report – Nancy reported our current balance is $8299.69. Approved reimbursement of $102 for post office box and $10 for Corporate filing fee to Charlie. It was noted that the P.O. box fee had increased by $10.  

Monitor Report – Ray reminded everyone of the monitor appreciation lunch at Retzer Nature Center on March 5^th. Arrive at 11:30 for chemicals, lunch is at 12:00.

Old Business –

A.   Plant sale – Authorized Charlie to purchase plants and make the down payment. Charlie will research metal frames for the stand to replace the old wooden ones and report in March about the cost.

B.    Bridge Project – Paul Evert reported that the Village had received an offer of a donation of $100,000 for bridge construction from Peter Van Horn. The bridge would be dedicated as a memorial to his wife Penny. Dave Swan suggested we contact the County bridge inspector regarding the structural integrity of the railroad abutments.

New Business – John Miller reported that the VFW will be holding a corned beef and cabbage dinner on March 13^th. The price will be $10.
