Pewaukee, River Partners, Friends and Guests, Thanks to all who attended our potluck meeting on Thursday. The food was great and the minutes of the meeting will read, "A good time was had by all". When we toured the bridge we had a number of people sneak through as they thought the bridge was open. At least two local photographers have been asking for the opening date so they can use it for portraits.
Our next work day will be Tuesday starting at 8 am. We will be doing finish touchup with caulking and staining. We have some deck screws to install and one piece of railing cap. There is some electrical to finish with new light fixtures to install when they arrive. We should be ready for opening by the end of the week. The Village will have to make a decision on the opening date.
